Likes: Amenities are top level. Staff was very professional and responsive. Dislikes: Atp was missing some kitchen utensils and wine glasses . AC makes some noise.

First time in San Diego. Travel agent booked us at Kasa and we couldn't be more pleased with the stay. Great location, great accommodations. Highly recommend Little Italy and the Kasa for your next stay in San Diego. .

Exceptional experience at Kasa Little Italy 1. This place exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay again. We were leery at first to book with a “virtual” company, but everything worked seamlessly. We were given the code to get in the building several hours before our check-in time. This allowed us to store our luggage while we went exploring until time to check in. They do offer early check-in for a fee, but we opted not to do this. 2. Communication was easy and the team was incredibly responsive. Questions were answered almost immediately after texting and supplies were provided in a timely manner. We asked for toilet paper one day and there was an attendant at our door in less than 5 minutes. We also ran across a couple of on-site people (MJ and Edward) who were both helpful and polite. 3. The cleanliness was extraordinary. I mean spotless. Kudos to the cleaning team. We felt like we were the first people to ever stay in this unit because everything was so immaculate. There is also a washer/dryer and laundry pods are provided. The shampoo/conditioner/soap/lotion are high quality brands that were full and last us the entire 8 night stay. There is a dishwasher and pods were provided for it as well. There was a sponge and dish soap and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots & pans, blender, coffee grinder and a pour-over style coffee pot. 4. There is a pool and hot tub that we enjoyed most nights. The pool is not heated, but nice for an icy plunge if you like that sort of thing. The hot tub was lovely. It was broken for about a day and a half, then repaired. There are also multiple sitting areas, a dog park, a dog wash and a well equipped workout room. 5. The location was perfect for us, with most things being in walking distance. We did use the trolley/bus system to go a little further out, but mostly found everything we needed close by. We walked to the pier where we spent the day at the USS Midway Museum. From our room, we were able to watch the cruise ships come in and also to see the planes and helicopters from the Naval base fly over the bay. Our experience was just lovely and we found it superior to staying in a hotel room.

Very happy with our stay at Kasa in Little Italy. Location was perfect and very walkable to good restaurants and the waterfront. The building was very quiet to be right downtown . I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting San Diego.

I would never stay with this studio anymore. Likes: The view is good. The room is kinda clean. Dislikes: The handheld showerhead does not work. The body cleanser is almost running out. Also, the bathroom lights keep turning off even when someone is inside, i.e., the sensors are not working properly. I stated that there are three people staying when I booked, and the advertisement says that it is perfect for three people. However, the sofa bed is not comfortable. It is too soft. Also, the bedding is not enough. The sofa bed is underneath the AC fan, so if you sleep on it, your skin dries out quickly, and you always feel too cold or too warm.

I’ve stayed several times at Kasa, but recently have noticed their rates increased; forced minimum night stay policies; and overall quality has gone down in terms of upkeep, and it has started to become very bland walking into the unit. Two nights with parking, etc., ran over $900, and at the time, I regret not looking elsewhere given the abundance of other options for less.

Initially I booked this location at $450/night. Found it again a week later for less than half the price — not a single difference. I reached out to Kasa for help and they were the most inconsiderate and unhelpful people I have ever dealt with in the history of travel. They refused to adjust the rate or accommodate. To make this even more confusing Airbnb told me that I still had time to cancel and rebook. Why on earth would they not simply adjust my booking or just let me know I could cancel?! I almost cancelled my stay altogether but I’m glad I didn’t because the place and location was perfect. Thankfully everything else was tech driven and I didn’t need to reach back out to them again. Despite this I’d stay again but I’d be damned if certain of my booking before I place it.

Perfect downtown location, easy walk or short Uber ride do anything. Will put it on my list to visit again.

Our stay was great! The only thing I wish this airbnb had was a full length mirror to help when getting ready but other than that that everything was perfect. Airbnb was super clean & had a great view. Would stay here again.

We would not recommend staying with this hotel while in San Diego. From the misleading parking, difficulty reaching staff when needed, and the finishes in the unit, it just wasn’t what we were expecting from the reviews and pictures. We watched two people get towed and were rudely approached by a resident during one of them regarding parking - they have emblems on spots that are not reserved for Kasa guest. They do give out a parking map in the lengthy check-in, but the mapped spots do not align with the emblems they have in the garage. They also have an extra set of elevators from the garage to an exit on Ash street - this is not for guests and your code will not work to get back into the garage. We were left to think we could not get back to our car until after lunch when we found the lobby entrance. We attempted calling and were on the phone for about 30 minutes just to leave the call because the representative (I’m assuming not even from the U.S.) was difficult to understand and was not comprehending what I was saying. Unit has cracked floors and multiple furniture pieces were falling apart. The view was great though! After all, they did charge us for it. Location was also a plus.

Truly the Best Airbnb I’ve Ever Stayed In This Airbnb was absolutely AMAZING. The location is superb, the apartment itself was flawless, and everything was spotless. They provided literally everything you could think of, you could move in with just a suitcase and feel right at home. I’ve stayed in many Airbnbs over the years, and this is by far the best I’ve ever experienced. What really stood out was the service. They have an onsite team that makes it feel like a hotel. Communication was next-level, everything was handled by text, responses came within seconds, and they took care of every request immediately. The combination of comfort, cleanliness, and such high-quality service is unmatched. There is absolutely no chance I stay anywhere else the next time I visit San Diego. Highly recommended!

I can’t say an ouch about how great our stay was! It was a last min emergency booking, after our original Airbnb (different owner) was NOT as listed. I found this place and was in the apartment within 30 min of booking! The location was amazing, amenities were fantastic and the building is stunning! I’m definitely coming back.

Pros: The room was clean, large, with a well-appointed kitchen. The building itself was quiet. My requests for an early check-in and extended parking were granted. Cons: The self-check-in process was less than smooth. Communicating via text, I had to ask four times about where to park. Another question took over an hour with both multiple calls and texts to finally get an answer. The shower drain backed up and the shower did not have a ledge, so all the water flooded out into the bathroom.

Clean room, Kitchen was fully equipped. Had a great stay!

The property was secure, clean and I enjoyed having a full size washer and dryer in the unit. Great location and walkability to Little Italy and the bay. The onsite manager was available to answer my questions in person. I highly recommend this property.
