Luxury apartment hotel in the heart of Little Italy, very nice but could be more thoughtful to guest
Likes: This apartment hotel is part of the 37-story Lindley luxury apartments building. The Kasa part has a separate side entrance. The building is modern in its furnishings and decor, with beautiful shared spaces on the the 7th floor (gym, massage, outdoor pool and jacuzzi, sauna, even an espresso machine in the lounge - which unfortunately was out of order).
Dislikes: Two seemingly minor issue slightly marred our experience:
We were not told that we need to use the plastic "fobs" to access the 7th floor, nor shown how to use them. We eventually figured it out, but not after some unnecessary frustration.
Also, there were two AC vents in our studio, one in the "bedroom" part and one in the "living room" part, but one of the vents was fully closed and the other fully open, making one side of the apartment too cold and the other too hot. The vents were at ceiling height so we could not reach them or adjustment (assuming they were adjustable). No, we did not ask the front desk for help, but guests should be able to adjust the AC in the room without placing a service call to the front desk.
