The location of the apartment is excellent — very central, in a quiet area, and convenient for visiting Chicago. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and appreciated the host’s communication.
However, considering the price, the apartment does show several maintenance and cleanliness issues that should be improved. There were visible imperfections on some walls, missing/damaged blinds, and in the secondary bathroom the shower caused large puddles of water on the floor every time it was used. We also found some bedding and pillows that were not fully clean upon arrival.
The apartment has good potential because the location is truly great, but it would benefit from better maintenance and attention to detail to better match the price point. We hope these issues can be addressed for future guests.
