Spent 4 nights with 4 adults. Loved how spacious the apartment was and well appointed. Loved the concierge and sense of security though the area seemed to be very safe, very walkable.
Nice corner until on 19th floor. We could not hear any neighbor noise aside from whomever was across from us and their inability to remember the passcode to get into there unit everyday, multiple times.
The city NOISE was a different story - since the building is on a one way street, it seemed like ALL the ambulances, firetruck trucks and police - with sirens blaring - used the street enroute and were very loud throughout the day and night. Cars honking horns and 'slingshot' riders blasting music was very audible.
The area is 2 blocks from the red line and 1 minute from busses. To us, both forms of transportation were safe and reliable.
To say one could walk to the Lincoln Park Zoo, true. In 40 minutes. you can.
Still a nice stay. if you plan to be busy, then this would be a great place to stay.
