The location is super, the apartment clean and uncluttered, but the kitchen facilities and equipment are hopeless and of too low quality for self catering. Kasa were not prepared to provide basic equipment to enable normal food preparation or cooking for our week stay, despite polite requests. They then offered a meagre refund to cover the expense of eating out or buying our own equipment. For example, knives and pans were of unusable quality and there were insufficient glasses and plates for our four guests. Disappointing given the premium rate.

It it’s a great place to stay. Most of Chicago’s attractions downtown are within walking distance. We loved that Whole Foods market is one block away. Food is everywhere within walking distance, a Chicago dog, deep dish Pizza , and a wonderful variety of restaurants. Kasa Rocks !

Easy and simple checking and a wonderful place.

I have stayed in Kasa for more than a week and I was so amazed by its location as well as the interior. The apartment looked exactly same as in photos. Everything was provided from detergents to towels. Check-in and check-out was smooth. Just parking was expensive for us, but I think it is same in every parking in Chicago downtown.

Great stay, and host was very responsive. Location was clean and I look forward to using kasa locations when I’m traveling.

One of the best places we have stayed at. By far the cleanest place we have stayed at! View is beautiful, location is exceptional. Only concern would be the parking fees, please be aware of the times of parking and the fees. It’s not included in the airbnb and they have expressed that to us prior booking. We will definitely stay here again.

Clean and clutter free rental, stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay, good building security and located in a great central location near lots of shopping and restaurants.

Beautiful place, would definitely rent again! Loved that there was a fully appointed kitchen and a Whole Foods across the street so we didn't have to drag the teens out of bed in the morning to go out for breakfast!

Great easy place to stay

Fantastic stay in River North! Perfect sized apartment for a couple and everything you need. I even worked from home a few days and the Wi-Fi was excellent. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice apartment in Chicago

Kasa had a few wear and tears at my place. However, I let them know about it and they were quick to get on it. I think it's normal to have wear and tears if you rent a place out. Price is somewhat reasonable, view was amazing, and the location is close in the city. Don't regret my stay and I would tell people to give it a shot.

Very independent, didn't need to talk to anyone or carry around keys. Good location. Would love to utilize the balcony next time when it isn't 32 degrees.

Perfect location!

I visited the Kasa Magnificent Mile Chicago in early October 2023 for the purpose of spending some time in Chicago and running the Chicago Marathon. I booked the 1 King Bedroom High Floor flat (14th Floor) and for anyone where the price range is within budget look no further. For the price of a hotel you get a real apartment to live in that feels like a proper home. The kitchen was fully equipped and had all the consumables that you require without a need to buy any extras. The kitchen/ living room area is spacious (even for US standards; for European standards it is very spacious; and for Far East standards the flat is huge). The bathroom is also very spacious and there were no issue with hot/ cold water/ lights/ cleanness of surfaces and consumables (towels/ toilet paper). The bedroom was also very spacious and had the usual walk in wardrobe found in the US (which is not common in Europe and Asia). The curtains were thick an enabled a good sleep irrespective of light pollution that you expect in a downtown area full of skyscrapers. The double glazed windows also helped dampen the sound of noise from outside and most importantly ambulances and police cars at night which can be a regular occurrence in downtown Chicago. The safety of the apartment itself is really good (particularly given that Chicago has attracted bad publicity recently) and the establishment is in a very safe neighbourhood that feels safe even late at night. The establishment is accessible 24 hours per day and there is a reception for most hours of the day. Last but not least I want to highlight the trouble free check in and check out process which makes it very easy if you have an early morning flight and want a hassle free check out.

Overall a great option for those with pets who just need clean and simple. Just be aware, they have a rule you can’t leave your pets in the apartment alone which is nearly impossible for those going to the theatre or even dinner. Overall it’s a decent value compared to most of the hotels near Michigan Ave.

The apartment is beautiful with all basic amenities and the location is unbeatable. Walking from most things you would wanna see or do in Chicago. The bathroom has some leakage issues though and some extra amenities like paper rolls or towels for longer stays would be my only couple points of improvement but that didn’t hinder the great stay we had. Would visit again.

Besides the initial double booking that we experienced, the stay was awesome! Apartment was great and close to everything! We were in walking distance to Ballys Casino, a bunch of great eats, Museums, Hancock building, Millennium park you name it !! Definitely need to do a rebook
