7/10 Good
Kasa South Loop is clean, modern, safe, and convenient but has some comfort issues.
Likes: Unit was very clean with large well equipped and well organized kitchen with lots of cabinets and counter space if you want to cook; building had a person at the front desk, was well lit with efficient elevators and was modern and very clean; location convenient to restaurants, train, subway, bus, and shopping (most things within easy 10 minute walk); surrounding neighborhood was clean, well landscaped, great sidewalk access, and felt safe for walking. This location felt more like apartment homes than a transient hotel.
Dislikes: No shelf storage, dresser, chair, or luggage rack in bedroom and only 8 or 10 hangers (not very useful for socks and underwear); you must walk through living area and kitchen to get to the bathroom which is in hallway as you go to front door; mini blinds only covering floor to ceiling windows on east side of building so lots of morning light and blind in bedroom would not lower the last 2 feet to floor; ceilings are concrete and heat/air conditioning comes from a large round line of exposed ductwork so it is very noisy when running (drowns out the white noise machine provided)
