Great overall experience! Shawn, the on-property representative, was outstanding. He maintained open communication leading up to our trip to ensure a smooth check-in and made himself available throughout our stay to address any minor issues.
The property itself was ideally located, within a pleasant 15-20 minute walk to many of Chicago’s central attractions including the Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, and Art Institute. The area is quiet but within only a couple of blocks of an abundance of dining and entertainment venues (nightlight). Between the central location and easy access to public transportation, once we parked in the covered parking space provided, we didn’t have to touch the car for the remainder of the trip.
The unit was extremely well appointed, with everything that you might need (or forgot to pack), including tea, coffee, pods for laundry, and detergent for the dish washer. For anything else that you might want/need, or those wanting to save $$ on dining out, there is a Target at the end of the block, a Trader Joe’s around the corner, and a number of smaller grocers and coffee shops in the immediate area.
Overall, one of the easiest and most enjoyable Air BnB experiences we’ve had. We will absolutely stay here again on future trips.
