I enjoyed my stay at The Maverick by Kasa overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and inviting, and I felt it was a great value for the price. The location was also a major plus, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance.
There were a few downsides, though. The towel refresh system wasn't very convenient—you have to retrieve fresh towels and linens from a supply closet, and during my stay the closet wasn't fully stocked. Since it's a fully virtual hotel, all communication is handled by text or phone with a service center. I also had to call to get my check-in code because it wasn't sent within the promised 48-hour window before arrival. Finally, there's no dedicated parking, only metered street parking with a two-hour limit Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., which could be challenging if you're traveling by car.
Overall, I would stay here again because the room, location, and value outweighed the inconveniences, but I hope they improve the check-in process, parking options, and linen restocking.
