10/10 Exceptional
I am originally from Pittsburgh (just less than a mile away) and did a staycation here when it was the ACE Hotel.
Since moving to Austin last year, we wanted a place close to our old neighborhood (Bloomfield) with convenient access to our favorite places, friends, and the marathon, as my boyfriend was running it. So for location, ALL THE STARS. For checking in & out, staying, and everything in between, ALL THE STARS. I absolutely love the digital concept, being able to check in with ease, and access the concierge floor (4th) if we needed more towels or toothpaste. The rooms feel like condo living, and I love it. The decor is amazing. Pretty much the same as ACE but better. The building is an old Y and holds so much historical value and character. There is a concierge desk in the lobby that sometimes has an attendant, and she was absolutely amazing! Super friendly, kind, and genuinely happy. Visits back home will always include staying here. BEST!
