8/10 Very good
The best thing about this apartment was the location--large park across the street, walking distance to downtown, Union Station, Larimer Street restaurants, Coors Field, and the Low Highlands neighborhood. The apartment itself was mostly comfortable, but rather smallish and plain. Unfortunately, our view was not of the park, but instead of another apartment building across the street. The only place to sit for a meal is at the kitchen counter on bar stools. As previous reviewers have noted: no dedicated work space, no dresser in the bedroom (although there is a walk-in closet with shelves adjacent to the bathroom, and the bed is low and not particularly comfortable.
This is Airbnb corporate, i.e. none of the charm of staying at someone's home and getting to interact with the owner(s) that is the more typical Airbnb experience. I've stayed at other urban apartments where that has been the case, but definitely not here. The other residents/guests were friendly, but it really is more of a hotel room set-up without the daily cleaning, valet parking, or other typical hotel amenities. It doesn't pretend to be otherwise, but the difference was noticeable. And it was not inexpensive.
