A few big issues here:
1. Kasa tries to screw its guests by leaving them a key card for entry. While framed as a convenience, it’s really a scam: if you forget to return the key card at the end of your stay, they charge you $250. This was not made clear.
2. This property does not include overnight parking. Again, this was not made clear. Had it been, I would have opted to stay elsewhere. Kasa said parking was available for an additional fee. It was not.
3. While the initial reservation is completed through AirBnB, all additional communication, including absurdly convoluted sign-up forms and instructions, are done through Kasa’s own external website, which is comically glitchy and frustrating to use (kept refreshing, clearing information entered, signing me out randomly, starting over at page 1, etc.). It was a nightmare to navigate and felt like one big prank.
I don’t believe Kasa and other third-party firms like it should be allowed to operate on this platform.
