The Frenchmen Is a great, historic building. Frenchmen street is brimming with music and restaurants. It’s also next to a great record store called Louisiana music factory, go visit Snooks ( cat ), he lives there. Bamboula’s was a highlight for live music and drinks within the same block. Being within 5-20 minutes of the entire French quarter and even Canal street makes for endless options of activities including: museums, ghost tours, tons of shopping, food, coffee shops, bars, etc.-10-12 minute walk to Jackson square. Water pressure was excellent. The pool courtyard was a nice place to unwind after a day of stumbling around the big easy. The streets surrounding the hotel can be noisy especially Friday-Saturday night but we had no trouble sleeping and the front desk offers ear plugs. Staff were very kind and helpful. Couldn’t say more positive things about our experience 💜
