We wanted to stay one night in the heart of the French Quarter. This ticked all the boxes. Perfect location, quaint hotel, and very responsive and friendly host.

Right at the end of Frenchmen st. close to great music venues and good food.

Great stay! The staff was very friendly and the location is perfect for walking to the main tourist spots. They also let us leave our luggage after check-out, which was a big plus. Highly recommended! ¡Gran estancia! El staff fue muy amable y la ubicación es perfecta para caminar a los principales puntos turísticos. Además, nos permitieron dejar el equipaje después del check-out, lo cual fue un gran plus. Definitivamente lo recomiendo.

Beautiful old building with comfy beds,lovely artworks and antique quirky furniture.Very attentive staff.The pool was great to cool off.

Our room was perfect…fairly quiet although on a busy street with bars and clubs nearby. The room itself was clean (the wood floor was a little sticky for some reason, but I just didn’t walk on it barefoot—it didn’t seem to bother my partner) and smelled fresh (not musty or a strong fragrance of which my partner and I are both sensitive.) Herbal infused shower gel, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner were available along with an abundance of clean, fragrance-free towels. The bed was comfortable; however, the pillows were very full and firm, which made them difficult to sleep on. The front desk help was super friendly and helpful. The hot tub wasn’t operational during our stay, but my partner enjoyed a dip in the pool. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants and music clubs/bars along Frenchman and Decatur. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely stay here again!

I'll definitely return! The only con was that the jacuzzi was not hot. I really wanted to enjoy a night in the jacuzzi.

Excellent hotel in the best area of the French Quarter. The hotel is decorated with an elegance and sensitivity that makes you feel at home. The team could not be better. Without a doubt, my experience in New Orleans would not have been as special without each one of them. Great location! Very close to everything. The staff at the front desk were always so nice and helpful :) Only downside is that the hot tub wasn’t working when we were there. Otherwise, great stay!

I was surprised my only window was at sidewalk level so needed to keep the curtains shut the whole time for privacy. This, plus lack or lighting diminished the experience a lot. A half curtain would be a big improvement to create privacy and let in light. These are fixable, and hope they can make it happen. What an amazing space and good crew.

Relaxing and fun Likes: The room was secluded, and the sound of the water feature was very relaxing. It's our 5th visit since Covid and we really like the location and the atmosphere. Dislikes: The jacuzzi still isn't working since our last visit in March, we really missed that. The lack of wardrobe in the room (there were 3 coat hangers) made us live out of cases for the 12 nights.

Perfect spot to stay when visiting New Orleans. It's on the best street for authentic live jazz, just far enough away from the noise to get a good night's sleep but close enough to still hear the music and see the nightlife from the balcony. Short walk to bars, the French Market, and the Riverfront streetcar line providing easy access to anywhere you want to go. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and homey. The courtyard pool is a nice little hideaway to beat the heat in the afternoon. All staff members running the front desk were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and happy to suggest some great spots to check out. Would definitely stay again.

I loved staying here! I had spent a few nights in the quarter and was looking for something a little different and this little hideaway on Frenchmen was a perfect choice. The rooms are clean and cute, and the bathrooms are especially adorable. I cannot wait to stay here again.

Me and my family stayed here passing through Nola. Cute hotel, I really liked the pool and hot tub. Definitely not a traveling hotel but a good hotel if you want to be right in the action of the quarter. Hated how small the room was very narrow especially with the pull out couch, guess that can’t be helped. Me and my mother almost froze to death on the pull out bed, no extra blankets or pillows located in the closet. Mother went downstairs to ask for extra blankets and pillows, no one was found. She grabbed a thin sheet she found on a cart in the lobby area. Come to find out in the morning the overnight receptionist left and the hotel was unattended. I don’t think we slept a wink. The water was hot so that was a plus. Won’t be staying here again.

Super cute spot to stay! Loved the location, walk-ability to the quarter, super close to the street car for easy access to any side of town. Front desk staff is incredibly kind, accommodating, friendly and helpful. Check in was very easy and they were more than willing to hold my luggage while waiting for the room to finish being cleaned. It was a bit chilly to use the pool, but having the private courtyard made my work mornings a bit more bareable while on vacation! The room was very clean and comfortable, the ac / heating unit kept the room at a perfect temp. There was a small maintenance issue I mentioned to the front desk, nothing serious by any means, but they took action right away and had it repaired by the time I was back from lunch. Cannot recommend this spot enough, I’ll definitely be booking again when I find myself in town again.

Loved this hotel stay. Staff were friendly & helpful. Enjoyed the sitting areas on the roof top of property as well as the pool area. The room was clean, and served our needs. Would stay again, next time we come back to New Orleans.

Cute rooms, nestled near so much but in a surprisingly quiet location.

If you’re looking for a place that gives neighborhood vibes and local living this is the place for you. The room we booked matched the photos and descriptions. By the accommodations you will see homeless and drug addiction by people. I wouldn’t recommend for families with small children. The staff were nice, but they didn’t recommend anything to us to try in the area. The overall experience was great!

Loved this hotel!! Such a cute place and great location. Beds were comfy, front desk staff was super friendly, felt very safe. Enjoyed the quick walk to great music and restaurants.

Voleurs ! Dislikes: Séjour très décevant. L’établissement a facturé 250 $ après notre départ pour une prétendue odeur de fumée, sans aucune preuve ni justification, alors que nous n’avons jamais fumé à l’intérieur. Un cendrier était installé sur la terrasse, ce qui laissait penser qu’il s’agissait d’un espace fumeur autorisé. Malgré nos explications et nos preuves, l’établissement a refusé tout dialogue et a directement débité notre carte, sans notre accord. Nous avons dû ouvrir un litige officiel auprès de Booking.com pour contester ce prélèvement abusif. L’endroit paraît correct au premier abord, mais la gestion est malhonnête et non transparente. À éviter absolument si vous tenez à votre tranquillité et à votre argent.

Great location right on Frenchmen street, definitely not the place to stay if you are sensitive to sound at night. The building itself is beautiful, the room was tight but nicely decorated and a comfy bed. A great place to rest inbetween outings.

Great French Quarter Location Great location. Walking distance to all sites within French quarter. Every staff member was so warm friendly and engaging! Had helpful suggestions on places to eat and visit. Our rooms were quaint and clean!! Would recommend to others.

first to start positive… the staff were very friendly and the hotel was beautiful. but they listed a hot tub in the amenities and it was out-of-service when i was visiting- which was a huge disappointment since i chose this hotel specifically over another airbnb for the hot tub since i have chronic back pain. i was looking forward to the hot tub all week to discover it cold when i arrived. also BOTH bars were closed during my whole stay. an updated amenity list would’ve been great since it under delivered majorly in that department. i didn’t want to give staff a hard time since i know it’s not their fault, but i would’ve asked for a partial refund if i felt comfortable enough to ask. but again, updated amenities would be good to not mislead customers… i was really upset.

I loved this hotel. It's beautiful and definitely had the feeling of privacy in an old world way. My fiance and I loved it. The hot tub was broken (recently so) but I believe they are getting it fixed. It happens and I'm just cursed. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys clubs and is "street wise" with no mobility issues. If you want to stay in a historic feel hotel it's reasonably safe from what I can tell. Positives: the pool is small and sweet. Beautiful. It's close to several bars and the French market. I loved the art, about a 3 minute walk down the road. A trolley stop is a similar 2 to 3 minute walk. The room is quiet, had that feeling of New Orleans that you get from movies or pictures. The shower was hot and the curtains blocked the light. They had water and tea/ coffee available. Negatives(they can't control most, you just have to be looking for this and ready): There was no elevator, and although a wheelchair may be able to get into the courtyard and first floor rooms, it is bricks. So it's bumpy and uneven The room is small, if I don't have a bruise on my leg it will be a miracle because the bed leg stuck out and I'm clumsy. There's also a lot of homeless people and it's by the "club" type bars. Not bad, just not jazzy enough. It's also likely you will hear music from 10 pm to 2 am. Friday and Saturday nights. (Didn't hear it on Thursday night) Bring ear plugs or something and you'll be fine.

Great place for walking in French Quarter

Great spot to land when staying in NOLA. Staff was friendly and responsive. Location was perfect, so much to see and do within walking distance. Would 100% stay here again!

It was a lovely place, it was clean and exactly what I was looking for the week I was there. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels. The water pressure was great and I could take a scorching shower with no worries about temp fluctuations. I really loved that they had a pool in the courtyard (I was sad that the jacuzzi was tepid not hot, I could have asked about it but I don’t want to be a bother). The staff was amazing! Both the women who worked the front desk were always warm and welcoming and gave us some good places to check out in town. Ooh, there wasn’t a microwave in the room but that was easily solved by asking at the front desk and they just warmed my left overs in the staff microwave ( I’m a foodie so I always have leftovers).

I don’t like to make a scene so leaving this for an anon review… but I booked this hotel specifically to be able to use the hot tub. I got here and noticed the hot tub was cold and asked the front desk if there was a button to press or something and she said it was out of service right now- the 2 bars were also not in service. So the majority of the amenities I chose this hotel for were all simultaneously “out of service.” Really disappointing and would’ve asked for a partial refund but don’t like confronting people about issues like this so didn’t have to guts to ask. The staff were very friendly too so I didn’t want to be rude.. but was very disappointed about those things being closed. Especially the hot tub. I have been having back pains so really looked forward to it to help my back. Left with a still very sore back. I would rate lower if the staff weren’t so kind.

Great stay at the Frenchman for our honeymoon. Concierge ladies were very kind and welcoming. We were walking distance from most things of interest and close enough to hear the great music of Frenchman Street.

Surprisingly small, my wife had to be in bed or seated for me to move around the very small room.
