Convenient location in downtown Detroit. Instructions for parking in the recommended third-party lot were unclear. Verified the address of the ramp we parked in matched what we were provided. Desk attendant said to use a kiosk in the ramp and so did the person responding to my texts, however a security guard in the ramp said there were no kiosks, only the QR code. This should be clarified.
Front of hotel is shared with a 7-Eleven, which is great for a quick snack. A variety of sketchy individuals regularly hangout in front of the building and there is trash and food covering the sidewalks.
Hotel itself was quiet, front desk attendant seemed a little bothered by parking questions, but overall virtual check-in was easy.
Room had a nice view of the courthouse and offered a lot of amenities including a washer, dryer, dishwasher, sink, and fridge. Floor throughout could use a good cleaning and the vanity in the bathroom was in rough shape.
Despite the downsides, the convenience of location and price would bring me back. Just has some room for improvement.
