Location is great Likes: Room size, security person was wonderful! Dislikes: Both remotes needed new batteries. I just went to 7-11 and bought new ones and replaced them.

Beware!!!!!! Upon arrival I was unable to get the self check-in system to work properly even with the assistance of the security guard. Thus, I was unable to stay and had to get a hotel room elsewhere. However, this disgraceful property charged me anyway and not only did not refund me for being unable to check in even with the assistance of the security guard but fought my bank when I disputed it so I ended up having to pay in full regardless. I travel frequently and have never experienced such horrible disrespect and being taken advantage of. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this property.

Likes: Right in the heart of downtown. Easy to walk everywhere. Parking close😆

What a great experience. I was looking for a downtown location for a work event that I was attending. I came across this location and let me tell you how delighted I was to be here. You can literally just walk out your front door and be next to everything you're right in the heart of downtown what a great place to stay if it's your first time in Detroit to really soak it all in. The room was accommodating and clean the bed was comfortable they had very well working internet the building was accessible parking was close by I can't say enough good things and the host was just available all the time. If you're looking to book a stay in downtown Detroit this is a deal you don't want to sleep on. But you'll be happy you chose to sleep here if you book it.

Excellent customer service, clean and modern.

My son and friends stayed overnight for a concert in the area. They said the place was great — nice and clean, easy to find, easy to check-in.

Kasa Unresponsive. Paid parking beforehand , followed instructions. Kasa never paid the parking, Late fee threats. Asked me to pay then reimburse me? Scam behavior. Airbnb had to get involved. Major time suck!!!

The apartment was comfortable and clean. It was a little hard to find. There was construction going on below that we weren’t warned about, but the host provided ear plugs that we fortunately didn’t need to use.

For the most part, was a great stay. The location is great besides all of the construction going on (not the host’s fault of course). Only issue we had was that the blinds couldn’t be opened, the host said that maintenance would come look at the issue but they never came.

Likes: The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was great to use, and the shower great as well. The view was the best part.

This hotel is beautiful the staff was fantastic and so helpful my family loved it here the deck is so nice to sit and be in nature I brought my dog who enjoyed the access to the tart trail and all the friendly people who pet her the view of the bay alone was worth it and the room was so clean and prestigious we will be back cant wait to check out some of the other Kasa locations

We don’t really have any complaints other than the fact that our unit did not have any toilet paper - which could have been a simple oversight being that we had Kleenex, paper towel, other supplies, etc. But when we reached out to the 24/7 text service, we were told to check all of the concierge closets - but they were also empty of toilet paper. We ended up having to buy our own from the 7/11 store. We were not supplied with toilet paper until the last night of our stay. Other than that, everything was fine. The unit was pretty clean, noise was pretty much absent, and we enjoyed the self check in and out. We would stay here again.

Good and safe place to stay. It was clean for the most part with the exception of a few stains on the bed linens. Parking garage was simple to find but confusing on where to park, no signage showing you’re in the right spot or instruction if there is a particular place for Kasa guests. Tried to text the support number given but it took hours to receive confirmation we had parked in the right place.

My family and I had a great time at this property. The views were so cool - highly recommended for your trip to Detroit.

Nice interior and receptionist. Although it would’ve been nice to get black out curtains when sleeping on the sofa bed and noise level was a little loud from traffic. But I enjoyed the stay and it was very close to our event. Would come back to a Kasa location

The facility was centrally located. The views were great, and the security and cleanliness of the facility was as I had hoped.

Fabulous, fabulous place to stay! Beautiful interior and immaculately clean. I stayed two days and would definitely stay again in the future. The communications from Kasa were clear and comprehensive. Nice little touches like ear plugs, bottled water and cookies. Right in the heart of downtown Detroit, but I still found it quiet and safe. By far, the best place I stayed on my tour through Michigan.

overall a good stay. but when we walked in, the TV was dangling off the wall. when we touched it to see what was up, it started to fall off and we had to catch it. there was nothing we could do so we had to lower it slowly as it pulled the drywall off. Kasa was super quick to respond, but they couldn't fix it so we had a TV balancing on the dresser. it was clearly not screwed into a stud, and had other screws which were clearly there to keep it from falling off as I'm guessing this wasn't the first time this happened. don't move the tvs in these units even though the mounts are designed to swing. very quick communicators, and the location was perfect for our concert at St Andrews, so not a deal breaker. just a weird experience. check in was easy, parking convenient, and the room was as advertised.

My go to whenever I have family or friends in town, great location easy and accessible. Love it here

Comfortable Likes: Space of the apartment. Location was good Dislikes: Not enough supplies, ran out of toilet paper only 2 rolls for a group of 5 for 2 nights. Not enough coffee, blinds did not block out the light. Could do with more mirrors , only 1 in bathroom for a group of 5

Perfect location, very nice and clean, not too expensive, very private. Like it better the expensive Hotels in the area.

Everything was absolutely perfect. I enjoyed my stay, and will plan my next stay in downtown Detroit at the Kasa. I will definitely refer someone to the Kasa.

Great stay!! I live in Detroit but had an out of town guest! We were right in the heart of downtown. The pictures are accurate! I’d definitely recommend Kasa to my family and friends!

A great location in the city with incredible views of the streets below. Just minutes away from everything.

Likes: Clean, spacious Dislikes: It is located next to 7/11 and there were strange people hanging out by it. There is a luggage room that can only be used during our stay. I had my flight at 6pm but check out at 11am, and I thought I could use a luggage room (because why else would you have it?) and I could not use it, which was really annoying.

Great spot.. Neighboring 7-11, not very convenient hours 7-12... However, super quiet, very clean.

I had stayed in a room in Kasa Detroit last and this summer, 3 and 4 nights respectively. Both years, I was not able to leave a feedback directly on their website although I received an email suggesting I could, the link was dead and did not allow me as a customer to rate my stay. In both instances, the room was as advertised but not immaculate at time of check in, I flagged various issues and shared pictures at time of check in, and while online responses reaches you swiftly, no actual support or repair is offered during your stay but a promise that the maintenance team will be informed. While I received an email confirming my early check-in request was accepted (cf. From 13.45) and already making my way walking to the property, I was not able to check in before 16.00, and was told the message was a mistake from their system. I found awfully expensive to be debited 250 USD for a deposit for such a short stay, and hope to be refunded promptly. Now, I am 3 days post check out and still waiting. I also found the room price on a very high hand for what the room really is but it was a great location for the events I attended twice at Hart Plaza in Detroit, walkable distance from Kasa Cadillac. The lack of possibility to leave feedback directly on their website feels like a lack of transparency and accountability from Kasa so honest feedback came between shared to any potential new customers. I have received a countless number of automated responses to my messages which said "this message was not delivered". I also never received a confirmation email about my check in which was surprising as very common in the hospitality industry. The fact that nu human is here to help does not feel appropriate to feel safe and secure in Kasa property. Only location is an advantage. For the reasons above, this is rated poorly, as I had to email several messages just to receive this link by default since their feedback email does not actually leave you to share public feedback and their Help Center does not offer support in this area either. The outside windows were so dirty that even by being located on the 9th floor, I unfortunately could not enjoy the view, obstructed by the view to the nice building and city outdoors.

Overall a great stay! Clean home, great pricing, lots of restaurants in the area! Lots of construction going on but nothing they can do about that! Would recommend.

Had a great stay at Cadillac Kasa! The location was right downtown and had a 711 on the first floor which was really convenient for buying last minute items. The area had lots of construction but plenty of parking options around and still pretty walkable even with sidewalks being closed. It’s pet friendly but there is a charge to bring a pet which is not included in the listing so I recommend reaching out ahead of time in case other Kasa locations don’t charge an extra fee for your pet. Otherwise we had a great stay, a comfy room, and the lobby security is a nice added touch that helped the airbnb feel extra safe! Would absolutely stay again.

extremely unsafe area. The 7eleven right next door was the stumping grounds for dangerous thugs and homelessness . Bedroom walls were filthy. Have photos of footprints and toes on the wall. Huge hole in the wall behind entrance . Ideal spot in Detroit. Not worth the price

Easy check in and perfect location. Likes: Great location, we enjoy walking and it was walking distance from a lot of places in downtown. Dislikes: No real big complaints, there was construction happening at the time of our visit but I don’t think that’s a constant issue.

Convenient location, walkable to any restaurants into the stadiums. Comfortable bed.

We knew the general area when we booked but it was better than we thought! Parking garage was so close to the front door that we could leave our bikes right on the bike rack at the car and grab them when we wanted to use them. The building has 2 elevators and only about 30 units so there was literally no waiting to get to the 7th floor, or back down again. The conveniences are almost too many to list. Restaurants everywhere in the area with regular American food or every type of ethnic food you can imagine (one of the many great thing about the Midwest towns like Detroit is all of the people who settled there and brought their cuisine from "Home"). There's a grocery store within a block that has everything you could want and when you need a night snack, 7-11 is right in the same building on the 1st floor. The view from the 7th floor was also amazing... the Historic Wayne County Building (built in 1895) is right across the street. The Renaissance Center 2 blocks down to the right, you can even see the Ontario Skyline across the river. I run in the morning and it's a 2 block walk down to the Riverwalk. From there you can head in either direction and go for miles, right along the river. If you're up to it, you can go all the way to Belle Isle and explore one of the few Public Park Islands on an international waterway! It's also a couple of blocks to historic Woodward Avenue. This place is a Gem and to top it off, they've kept it reasonable. Hats off to the owners of this one!!!!

Great place and good location. Lots of places within walking distance. Very safe as well. The bed was a full, not a queen but it was so comfortable it didn't matter.

I had a wonderful stay! Beautiful & stylish room with a striking view of the Old Wayne County Building. All the amenities you could need for a short stay, I loved all the thoughtful touches. Comfortable bed, clean shower, and an in-unit washer and dryer which came in handy. I had zero issues getting in the building. I ended up eating at Mootz nearby, get the Cajun Salmon Alfredo! Who ever runs this hotel, never change! I will certainly be returning.
