This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel. We spent two hours searching for the place, which we finally found after walking past a window because of a small piece of paper posted in a building that had many other businesses. It was NOT A HOTEL but actually an apartment building, I’m very disappointed with Expedia showing it on their site as a hotel without clarification. There was no lot or even street parking available, there was only a blurb on the website about possible paid parking 10-25 minutes away, costing $30 and up to $90 dollars a night. There was no front desk or building. You had to go to the other businesses’ building and type in a code or speak to someone over a digital intercom. The entire process was incredibly confusing, and I can’t imagine an older or less digitally savvy person trying to navigate it. After putting the tv on with a slightly higher volume, we got a notice the next day that there were noise censors in the room that we hadn’t been aware of. The property threatened a $500 dollar fine for this noise sensor being set off, which was only stopped after calling and explaining the situation to another offsite hotline. The room itself was very good, but I couldn’t recommend Kasa less. Having noise surveillance in an apartment they claimed to be a hotel was frankly disgusting. By far the worst, most disappointing, and frustrating part of our trip.
