Another fabulous stay with The Guild. The company is amazing about communication and meeting all of your wants and needs. Buyer beware....there are other companies out there that try to mimic the Guild’s services and fall very flat! So make sure whenever you book that you are getting the Guild. You’ll know by their user-friendly texts and check in services!

Great place to stay right in the heart of downtown Austin.

Great location, in downtown and close to lots of good restaurants. Well-maintained property with a nice pool area that is partly shaded in the afternoon. The unit had everything we needed for a 5-day stay including a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. When we first moved in, the microwave was missing, so I texted the person who had checked me in and they sent someone to bring me one within a few hours. We had a unit with a king sized bed, a bathroom with a double vanity and a walk-in closet. The living room was spacious and comfortable and it was also nice to have a balcony to relax on in the evenings. The only drawback was that my unit was entered without knocking no fewer than 5 times. The people who came in were all people who had a legitimate reason to be there - maintenance, inspections, housekeeping - but it was disturbing that they did not knock and wait for a response before entering. There seemed to be some confusion about whether there was supposed to be anyone in the unit. Housekeeping stopped by several times over the course of my stay, but never did any actual housekeeping, so I don't know what was up with that. I'm not sure whether cleaning was supposed to be included and I didn't really need it anyway, but it was weird how they kept sticking their heads in and then just leaving without cleaning anything. The issue of entering without knocking is the reason I rated communication as just mediocre. Otherwise, the management was very responsive to my texts.

Great experience... only critique would be regarding communication about parking instructions as we were unaware that we were supposed to be given a parking fob and a building access fob. We only received a building fob.

Great value Guild does a nice job of presenting a pleasant, clean accomodation. Just be sure to read the entry and exit instructions as each property is probably unique. Would have made my departure easier had I taken the time to read the instructions.

Communication and check in was incredibly easy! Property was very nice. Linens were clean and soft. Location is great, right in downtown Austin with a lot of shops and restaurants right in the building itself.

Elegant and right downtown This was an excellent choice. I would highly recommend it. The hustle and bustle of a regular hotel is lame. This is th way to go to avoid all that nonsense.

The Guild is one of the best places I ever stayed It was a great stay and at a very comfortable apartment, I only wished I had been able to stay longer, it had a full kitchen and a washer and dryer too. The location was awesome with great stores and restaurants on street side, they also have a great virtual check in that can't be beat.

I didn't stay because I needed to check in to my room so I could get ready for an event to meet up with friends. It took about 10 minutes to get into the room because my code they gave didn't work...Realized when they finally gave me a new code...house keeping was still in the place cleaning. I really needed to take a shower to get ready and she still wasn't done. With the bedroom or bath. After 25 minutes I finally told her to leave so I could get ready. I only had enough time to change clothes / no shower...I was upset and now running late. I left without taking the "key" to get back in... I just said screw it and ended up staying at my friend's place. It's a nice place...but I wish I knew before the rates of the parking so I could plan around that...and maybe they could suggest places to park that is nearby. I'm not sure if I'll be staying there again. At this point ..undecided.

Amazing! This was our second stay at the Guild on Lavaca and it was just as amazing as the first trip and will not be our last. We brought our daughters this trip and like us, they didn’t want to leave! We will certainly be back and this is the only place we will stay.

Poor first impression, but good second. Okay, so here’s the deal: we arrived on time to check in, per the (rather convoluted) check-in instructions. We got to the door opened it...and the room was still dirty. Unmade bed, dirty dishes, dirty sink in bathroom, towels on the floor etc... My wife is an intense germaphobe, so this was a bad look from the get-go. I will say though, that once we made them aware of the problem, they quickly got us upgraded to a better room, comped our parking and were very apologetic. So, it was a bad first impression, but after giving them a chance to make it right, I can say that they acquitted themselves admirably. Anyone can have a mistake, and they made it right. The new room was very comfortable and the view was great. We would stay there again.

Fun time Clean .had every thing i needed in the room. The check in was a little strange but worth it. I hope i get back soon

Great in all respects, but directions regarding access to parking and condo are somewhat confusing and complex and should be simplified.

Great place. Stylish place in the middle of downtown. Walking or a quick uber ride to anywhere in Austin.

Very clean but there was three of us amd there was no extra blankets in the room othen than what was on the bed .Other than that it was great I did had some quastions and they ware answered right away.

Awesome place to stay! I loved this place. I will definitely be coming back.

We were all blown away with this place, way better than staying in a hotel room!!! We had a corner 2 bedroom loft with a wrap around balcony, also had a comfortable couch that turned into a bed to sleep 6 of us. The place is huge and we felt bad for leaving to check out downtown, we felt we should be spending time at our condo. All of us also wondered if we could just live there... A couple blocks from 6th, just a great place!! This is all coming from a Resort General Manager.

Loved everything about our stay at The Guild. Clean upscale apartment in a great location. The communication with staff was amazing. Instant response to all texts and they even accommodated our early arrival. Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

Full apartment with plenty of room. Fantastic location within walking distance to the lake, Congress bridge and restaurants.

I saw a special on Expedia for The Guild Lavaca and decided to give I a try. I am so happy that I did! The apartment is spacious, stylish, and has breathtaking views of downtown Austin from the balconies. You are walking distance from 6th, shopping, and restaurants. I was a little nervous about the online check in but they walked me through the process every step of the way so I had no issues finding parking or the complex. I definitely recommend and will stay here again!

A home away from home This place was fantastic! Great location down town with several places to eat within walking distance. It has everything from hair dryer to washer and dryer to shampoo and conditioner to laundry detergent. We be booking with them again for sure. I highly recommend it, you won't regret it.

really fantastic place

Very different to stay in an apartment building. Was not aware this was what I was signing up for, but we enjoyed it. I would have preferred to know the details prior, though. Also, parking was $35 for an over night so that increased the cost of stay substantially. Loved the location though.

Fantastic. The only thing that was a bit jarring is that the building is part of an apartment. You never interact with a physical person and you have to pay for parking, both of these things I can live with. The person we did interact with on the phone was lovely, and the room itself (well, apartment) was absolutely perfect. There was a giant bathtub, a fantastic pool, a really lovely balcony, and a full kitchen. The bed was comfortable and clean. There were smart TV's and free wifi. An absolute oasis of comfort. My partner and I will definitely be staying there again.

Quick trip to Austin. Went to Austin for a JuiJitsu tournament. Took my kids with me and stayed the night. We went swimming at Barton Springs.

Would stay again Rooms very spacious,full kitchen, bed comfortable , felt very safe in the area. Parking provided as part of the apartments which was huge the downtown area can be difficult to find parking. Numerous restaurants and coffee shops within short walking distance. Staff availability

Simply Awesome! Best kept secret in Austin!

perfect stay-cation I actually live in Austin already and even live close to downtown, but as I couldn't afford to travel this year for a vacation, I wanted to do a stay-cation to recharge and have a change of scenery. The Guild at the Amli was perfect for this! I loved feeling like I lived in the middle of downtown even just for a few days. I would stay here again and recommend it to ANYONE traveling to Austin. It's right in the middle of everything and 2nd St itself has a lot to offer in the way of restaurants and shops (and one very snooty, expensive salon to avoid!). It's just a block from Ladybird Lake and a few blocks from the beautiful new library. Lots of bars, food trucks, and fine dining restaurants are short walk away. The Guild has rooms in other buildings in Austin and if I decide to do another stay-cation, I may want to check out another one as well! 5 stars from me!

Wonderful! Loves the location, the place was super cute and had prompt and friendly service. The check-in was a little different, so just make sure to read the instructions throughly. I would most certainly stay there again!
