Best kept secret in Austin! We had the most amazing stay; the apartment was very thoughtfully decorated, with an urban taste that is also quite artistic. Above all,constantly available staff and very clean ambiance along with a vibrant neighborhood made our stay a truly memorable one.

Enjoyed our stay, will stay again. Clean and comfortable. Close to places to eat and things to do.

Spacious, clean, excellent location right downtown! Walk able or electric scooterable (Lime and Uber scooters right outside door) to all the cool stuff.

Love the Guild, but the still need to streamline their check-in procedure.

Very confusing and poorly labeled check in and out. You have to do it on your own and just figure it out. There is no check in desk for help. Good luck

Nice! Very nice and clean. Great location! Only concern was that it was cold in room and no extra blankets.

Novel concept was fun, but lacking in comfort. Pros: The modern touches, such as picking up keys at a kiosk and being able to text the “hotel” with any questions, concerns, or requests were really nice! They even had a smart tv that you can log in to your streaming services on and offer to stock your fridge. If you want to go out, you’re smack dab in the middle of downtown, so there are tons of options for outings! Cons: The rooms are located within an apartment complex, and as such are a little confusing to find. They are also extremely poorly insulated so you hear everything going on on the streets (our room was on the 5th floor) and in all of the rooms around you. Also, the foam block mattress just wasn’t very comfortable for sleeping. Other: Very clean, with modern style. Set up like an apartment, has a full kitchen and W/D. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a different kind of lodging experience, but we would probably not stay at this location again.

Family Get Away Great location! We were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was stocked with cotton balls, face wipes and cotton swabs. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash supplied were very nice products. They also provided dishwasher detergent as well as laundry detergent. We loved it!

Great time in Austin This was a great place to stay in Austin. The apartment was roomy and clean and suited our family of 5 perfectly. We had a few queries or small additional needs and were well looked after. It is located in a cool area of Austin. The only downside was the construction across the street and the noise in the evening from local bars and the morning from the construction.

The property was great! It's basically a nice 1 bedroom apartment with a very comfortable king bed and a full kitchen. Location couldn't have been better. The downside: previous renters have mentioned the difficulty in check in/out. Even after reading the instructions thoroughly, my phone number wasn't programmed into the check-in kiosk, so i had to call customer support. Fortunately, someone was working at 11pm. To the Guild management. If you're going to stick with this check-in / out system, please make sure guests are programmed in ahead of time. Bottom line is it's a great property with a tricky check in/out process.

Austin Biz Trip I enjoyed all of the space and a fully furnished 1 BR apartment opposed to a hotel room. Also, great neighborhood, lots of food choices. Had a bit of trouble with the key cards. I think one of them was not set correctly, but everything else worked great.

The check in was a little rocky but management was great at fixing it and making me feel very welcome. It’s a great location and large space. I didn’t need the kitchen bug was still a cool place! I missed having more cozy carpet. It was a polished concrete floor.

Great location for exploring downtown Austin. Quiet, clean and friendly. Easy access to parking garage, checking in and out.

Unable to stay at the place I reseved!!! This place has a check in process that is different. They require you to upload your ID to their website with a picture of your ID. However for some reason their system would not verify my ID. As a result we could not stay here. With this system they never told me to start the process early via text or email. However when I got there they told me. Someone met me in person but ended up leaving because the process was taking to long. After several calls and texts they just told me that their system could not verify my ID. They gave me no reason, and didn't tell me how long it would take and would not give me a time frame. I was traveling with an infant and my family. It was very frustrating as we all wanted to check in. My baby had pooped through her outfit and I had breast milk I was traveling with too . After 1.5 hours I asked if should book a different place. They said yes and we can cancel it free of charge. I have never had a more aggravating process or not been able to stay somewhere that I booked. We ended up having to spend more money on a room also sense we had to find a place that night. They did not help book a place or do anything to help with the inconvenience. Just a sorry we know it's our fault. I would not book this place sense you are not guaranteed to be able to stay here.

The Guild was a fantastic option for us! Easy to check-in. Apartment was very spacious and comfortable. In a fantastic location. Will look for The Guild when traveling to Austin and Guild locations.

I had fraud issues on two credit cards while providing them to the hotel and have been unable to reach their management by phone to talk about it.

We arrived early and our room wasn’t ready. We were told where we could keep our luggage so we were able to have lunch. Within a half an hour, we received a text that our room was ready. A little confusing where the entrance of the hotel was. No marking. Just look for the Cru Restaurant and make sure to study the photo of the entrance they send you. Great room! Spacious! Clean! Updated! Comfy! Great location!

The Lavaca St location is very good, central to what our staff needed for the 2 nights in Austin. The check in process is unusual, I received a text in the morning asking when I expected to check in. I was then told to expect details later. The Guild uses existing apartments, so there is no “front desk”, a series of codes is given to access the elevator and your room. The apartment is very spacious with a king bed in its own room, a large living room and full kitchen. Now, knowing what to expect at check in, I’d recommend The Guild without hesitation.

#1 choice for an Austin hotel! Incredible in every way! Such fantastic service and amenities! Fully stocked kitchen + a record player with records to listen to! The location was also great as it's right next to 6th street and Zilker park! I'd love to live here!

I didnt like the loud noisy construction site directly across the street banging at 7am!

Good location - interesting accommodations Hard to get in and know where you were in building. Unusual check-in and reservation confirmation.
