10/10 Exceptional
I would 1000% stay with Kasa again (in Chicago or in any other location)! I’ve done several month-long AirBNB stays and this was probably the best!
- The unit came stocked with all the ‘basics’ to get you started – dishwasher tablets, washing machine tablets, dryer sheets, power strip, paper towels, toilet paper, sponge, dish soap, basic surface cleaner, trash bags, coffee, tea, salt, pepper, olive oil, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, dish soap, etc. It was plenty to cover me for 4 weeks, but I would anticipate purchasing more depending on your length of stay.
- The Kasa team was SUPER responsive – regardless of platform – texts, emails, AirBNB msgs were all responded to quickly & efficiently and in a friendly and helpful manner. I had some initial communication issues because my texts weren’t going through from my phone. Once I realized the issue, their response went above and beyond to ensure everything was fixed and perfect. I had a few random/general maintenance things pop up – Kasa was on top of it and maintenance arrived the same day to resolve the issues.
- There were 2 walls of windows in the living/dining/kitchen area, so it was bright and sunny and filled with natural light. The views and sunset were awesome! (Disclaimer: My unit was clearly on the corner of the building, so I can’t confirm this is the case in every unit). The balcony was great but would not be safe for a small dog (in my opinion). I found the railings a bit too wide for my little 12lb poodle. The bedroom (with a wall of windows) was big and bright and had a huge walk-in closet with plenty of hangers! There was no drawer-type storage, but tons of hanging and shelf space.
- Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Location was great – a Whole Foods across the street and metro station within one block. I will absolutely be back!
