It was a bit confusing for us. Parking information was not clear until we arrive there. If you could put street parking is no charge from Mon- Sat from 6pm to 8 am. It was helpful for us.

Seamless Stay Checking in to the Kasa was an easy experience. Once the time for my check-in came, I was able to enter and exit the building and my room with by using my provided code and a provided webpage. Though there is no doorman, the building itself felt secure. The rooms were cute and came with a handful of nice-to-have items (paper towels, first aid kit, extra linens, etc.) in addition to the usual ones. Overall I had a positive experience. I look forward to returning in the future!

Checking into what is essentially a hotel without seeing another person is a little strange but not actually a bad thing. the space was beautiful and exactly as pictured. I couldn't have been happier with my room. My only complaint and it's a very minor one. is that the Wi-Fi was almost unusably slow. that could have just been my room but had I been there longer than a single night it would have been an issue. But again... that's a really minor complaint.

Deffinitely would NOT recommend or stay again. Definitely a disappointing stay. The chat feature deletes and disconnects if you leave the page and won't resume if you go back, and the agents take for ever to respond. Considering this is essentially the only way to contact anyone from the property (aside from calling a remote help center) that poses a major problem when the agents take 5+ minutes to respond, so you have to sit there on the page just waiting and if you accidentally answer a text or something you get disconnected and cant resume. The room itself was clean, but the air conditioning wouldn't work correctly and would shut off randomly. Their "solution" was to turn it off and back on, which did nothing. The room never got below 78 degrees all night long so I had to sleep in a puddle of sweat. Also when trying to take a relaxing bath the tub stop didn't work so it continuously drained and I wasn't able to use the tub at all. This was when the issue with chat came up because they wanted me to send a photo but when I switched to the photo app the chat disconnected and I was SOL and I gave up. The property is new and the concept is cool, but in practice there are a LOT of issues that need to be worked out. I would not stay here again.

Very cute room. The location was amazing. Food restaurants within walking distance. Although there was no parking. There were plenty of lots you could park in and pay. Reasonable pricing. Would definitely stay again.

Great hotel except that an EDM event happened during my stay which was extremely disruptive.

Best breakfast!

This is not a hotel. Two floors are set up like an airbnb. There is no staff onsite, and there is no security. Late at night (after 10pm) anyone can enter the building and take the elevator to your room. The urban neighborhood is sketchy, especially at night. Absolutely no service, and the management cares nothing for your experience or security.

Have a reservation for next weekend for an anniversary/babymoon trip. Already giving the 1 star for the lack of transparency by Kasa/Maverick to paying guests who would like to be aware of ANY live music that would impact their stay If I hadn't reached out in advance to Kasa, I wouldn't have even known there's an EDM show "tentatively" scheduled for that weekend. I have an 8 month pregnant wife that I would never have subjected to a 10 pm - 2 AM EDM show where we are supposed to be relaxing/peaceful weekend away Shame on Kasa and its mis representation of their space. Would have stayed elsewhere if this info was stated on their site

Very easy, clean and good (historical) location

great location and everything self-explanatory Despite the fact that there was no human interaction everything went very smooth. I received text promptly and there was no need for any assistance.

Likes: The room was very clean and comfortable. A lot of supplies were provided. Dislikes: The location did not always feel safe and there was no staff.

Unique hotel. Self check-in instructions were easy to follow. Cute rooms, clean and comfortable. We ended up being there on a night the hotel bar wasn't open, but it looked like a fun area to hang out had it been. Within walking distance of some great bars and restaurants. Like the area, felt safe.

A great combination of the old and the new! Dislikes: Some old fashioned amenities, like a safe to put my laptop and a place to leave luggage for a few hours after checking out.

The Kasa I stayed was perfect and just as pictured and described. I was please try surprised by the special touches included with the stay- aside from the usual coffee, tea, and creamer, my Kasa stay included boxed water, Tate’s cookies (my favorite) and two tokens for complimentary drinks at the bar on the first floor! I slept well in the comfy bed and loved the large size and plushness of the bath towels. In the fall I travel to Pittsburgh almost every weekend and would have loved to book another stay here. Unfortunately, the dates I will be in Pittsburgh are already booked- my advice to you is Book as soon as possible!!!!

loved our stay! great view and close walk to so many things!! short drive to downtown! the views were great, as well! such a great price compared to other hotels in the area and it was a beautiful suite. we already recommended this hotel to my parents for when they visit!

The place was just as described and pictures in Airbnb. I stayed in a unit on the 4th floor with a view of a beautiful church just across the street. Along with the usual amenities of coffee maker/coffee/tea and creamers, Kasa certainly thought if everything a guest may need to feel comfortable and welcome. The extras like boxes water, ear plugs, make-up remover towelette and Tate’s cookies (my favorite)were a really nice touch. Kasa even went a step further and left two tokens for complimentary drinks at the bar on the first floor!!!! I plan to stay again, however many of the weekends that I plan to be in Pittsburgh, they are already booked. If you are thinking about staying, I suggest you book as soon as possible!

GREAT hotel in Pittsburgh Likes: Clean hotel, great location close to stores like Target and Bakery Square, beautiful design and affordable parking close by. Close to Chatham University and Shadyside area. Constant texts to see if you need anything. Dislikes: Matras was a little hard for my liking

BEST hotel in Pittsburgh VERY clean hotel, beautiful rooms and in a nice area, affordable public parking next to the hotel, follow up texts to check on guests. Bar in the hotel looked great and the lobby was so gorgeous! GREAT experience, we will definitely go back!

Had a good stay. I was there for a month so the space was small for my needs, although for a quick few day trip it would be perfect. Lots of good food nearby. The place is also a venue so there were concerts two nights - I heard the music in my room but it didn’t really bother me. There is a bar downstairs that is open thurs-sat. Weird hours but cute vibe. I would have liked to have had chairs with a back rather than the stools, as there wasn’t really anywhere to sit other than the bed. However, for the price and length I paid/stayed, it was very reasonable. Happy with my stay.

DO NOT stay here on weekends. This is not a hotel. This a *public nightclub* with rooms on top of it. We stayed here last weekend and there was (I am not exaggerating) a literal EDM rave that went until 2 AM. There were hundreds of people in the lobby and the entire building was shaking there was so much noise. Management only emailed everyone about this event a few hours before it was starting, way too late for anyone to cancel or make alternate plans. My wife and I were speechless. I cannot imagine subjecting guests to this. Reading through other reviews (which I should have done beforehand), it's clear that this "event" was not just a one-off mistake. This EDM rave is a *regular occurrence*. Please, please do yourself a favor and stay far away.
